I've been on a hiatus. I've been traveling a lot this past month, and to be honest, I've enjoyed the break but I'm struggling to get back into a routine.  I've also been dealing
with a lot emotionally and trying to figure out just where I stand with people and in life.

I'm taking a hiatus. I'll post eventually, but this is a formal announcement that I'm not gonna be around here.

I'm also going to cut back on my internet in general. I'm not saying I'm giving it up, but I need to take a real step back and get some things in my life in order. I also need to use this time to find out who and what is important in my life, and focus on that.

So. There ya go. You know how to reach me.

Blogging takes time. More time than I seem to be able to properly give it. I WANT to blog.. but I just always seem to have other things to do. I'm not promising I'll blog more. It seems when I do that, I always end up blogging LESS. So.. Be on the lookout  for randomly spaced out blogs. About random topics. Or maybe no blogs at all.

That is all.

Ramblings of a mommy...

Everyone knows that moms sacrifice a lot for their kids. And i knew that when I became a mom, I would give my very last breath to my child.. what I didn't know, was that she would absolutely be taking ever single breath from me, on a daily basis! When she was first born, it was non-stop nursing and diaper changes. I pushed through it. Sometimes my goal would be to just make it through the next hour, I told myself whatever I could to get myself through whatever challenge was at my feet that moment. As she got older, it was diaper explosions, constant baby proofing (and reproofing!), dinner explosions, toy box explosions... Whatever she got into, it always seemed to end up with an explosion of some sort. Toys everywhere, food everywhere, everything everywhere. If it wasn't her making a mess, it was just a tantrum after tantrum over.. well, half the time I never know what it's over! She's almost 20 months, and she is amazing. My point though, is that I am sheerly exhausted every single day, regardless of her mood. And everyone tells me to take time for myself.. well, I'm asking you, when do I get that time?

I can tell you all the wonderful things I'd love to do - go shopping, get a pedicure, get my hair cut, go out with the girls.. And yes, I have had my moms nights out, but the horrible part is, even then I'm thinking of her, wondering if she's okay, if she's being good for daddy, if she's eating dinner, if she took a bath, if she went to bed okay. And if i go out during the day without her, I still feel rushed to get back home. It's like an invisible house arrest or leash. I can leave, but I'm still attached.

I don't want to be detached from my family, that's really not what I'm saying. I'm just saying, I don't ever have complete "me" time. Even now as I'm trying to write this blog, I can hear her whimpering over the monitor, letting me know that she is undoubtedly waking up from her nap, a whole hour and a half early. I'm almost positive that if I hadn't opened this laptop to blog, she'd still be asleep. You see, it's her "mommy is being productive" radar. If I was just screwing around, not doing anything of importance (yes, blogging is important to me, even though I rarely do anymore), then she'd still be sound asleep. I suppose that's the way it will always be, all the way up until.. well probably forever. I really wouldn't want to trade it though. I love the feeling that I get when she just wants me, when I am the only person who can comfort her, calm her, and make her happy, even when I'm the same person who has upset her by not letting her climb on the TV stand. That's a feeling I would never, ever trade in a million years.

But, I really would like to get my hair cut. My problem is that even though it's not expensive, I can find all kinds of other things to spend money on, or not at all. In reality, my hair is just fine, although annoying to me, and I can survive just fine with it the way it is. See what I did there? I just talked myself out of a haircut.

For Christmas, I want a gift certificate to a local salon. To get my hair cut. I don't even want it colored or highlighted or any of that. Just a cut. Oh, and a Shark Steam Mop. Yeah.

On a side note: Isabows are doing well.. I've got some orders coming in now, and I'm excited! Halloween Bows are coming out now, and I'm having fun making them!

The princess is calling..

I've started making and selling some pretty little bows for the pretty little girls I know. It started off by me just wanting to make bows for Bella, and eventually, after some encouragement from a few people, I've started selling them. I've made a Facebook page, and hopefully I will eventually make an etsy site or another website. I'm not sure which will work best for me, but we'll see when that time comes. I enjoy making them, they are fairly easy for me, and I really put the time into them to make sure each one is well made. I don't want to take on more than I can handle, but right now I'm no where near overloaded. I've just got a few orders for some friends, and I'm hoping to get some more orders soon!

I haven't figured out shipping, since everyone I've sold to has been close by, but I guess I'll figure that out when we get to that point.

Here's some more info about my bows....

I roll all my own ribbon, and I heat seal all the ends. This ensures that the ends do not fray or come unraveled. I even seal the ends that aren't seen, and the ends of the ribbon I use to line your 2-prong alligator clip. I attach a small piece of non-slip material to every clip, unless you request otherwise.  The ribbon is all stitched together, and then onto the clip, so there is no worry about the bow coming apart from the clip. I do this because I've had bows for Bella that were only glued together, or just tied together with a string, and they have all been pulled apart. She likes to yank them out of her hair, and I can happily say that she has yet to tear apart one of the bows that I have made for her.

The Korker bows come in two basic sizes, 3.5" and 5". I can also make any other sizes you want, but those two seem to work best. I have also begun making what I call a "flower style" bow, which is about 4" across. You can see examples of all my bows here.

I'm happy to try and match any outfit you have, or make bows in your favorite team colors. =) Just shoot me an email at

Show me the $$$!

So, I've been a stay at home mom since Bella was born.. that's 18 months. I can't say I haven't loved every second of it, because I absolutely have! However, As she's getting older and more mobile, and more stubborn, and testing more limits.. and my patience, I find myself craving time away. It is kind of funny, because I hate to leave her, but I really enjoy my time away. Even if it's just to the grocery store. I enjoy not having to constantly chase her, or to have a conversation that isn't interrupted. So - I'm going to get a job. I went into The Children's Place in the mall, and they were out of applications, but I spoke with the manager once before that, and when I was just there, spoke with the scheduling manager about my schedule requirements, and they were both VERY understanding. It basically boils down to - I can only work when Kevin is off. The minute I have to start paying for daycare, then it becomes pointless for me to work. I'll only be working maybe 15 hours a week, and probably not much more than minimum wage. (which, is what, 7.50 or something now?)

I'm also babysitting once a week for my friend Erin. She has two kids who are 3yrs and 6mo. It doesn't bring in a lot, but it brings in enough to pay for lunch out or whatever.

AND I just started working as an assistant to Rebekah, of R. Gonzalez Photography. I'm doing the scheduling and generally helping her out with whatever she needs. It's easy to do because she is a great friend, laid back, and most of it is done through emails, so I can just hop on whenever I have some quiet time. Right now, it's naptime that I'm using to answer emails. So, if you need some photos taken, email me at and I'll set you up an appointment.

So, I seem to have a lot going on, but at the same time, it's not a lot. I am enjoying it all so far. Hopefully I will get up to TCP in the next couple days and get an application filled out (they were out of them when I went last time). We'll see how things go.

Hope you all are having a great week!

What's Your Mommy Type? |

What's Your Mommy Type? |

This is an interesting article I found. Which Mommy Type are you?

I think I'm not just one type, I fall into a couple of categories. I think I'm Sugar and spice, I know I can also be Instigator mom.. and I'll probably be Ass-Kisser mom, although I'm not sure about super expensive gifts..

It's hard to categorize yourself, because 1)we see ourselves different than others do, and 2) other people see us differently based on how we present ourselves to them. So, to some I could be bitchy mom, and others sugar and spice. I believe deep down, we are all a compilation of ALL these types, or most of them. It's just a matter of which one we keep "on top".

My bows, worthy enough to sell?

Here are some bows I've made..  what would you pay for them?

FYI: all ribbon is heat sealed on the end, the ribbon is stitched together to stay in place. They are on 2 prong alligator clips, which is wrapped in ribbon as well to match the bow. There is NOT any non-slip material on these specific bows, but I could easily add it if someone requested it. I usually make them in sets of two, since Bella almost always has her hair in pig tails.  so, here are alll the pics. Tell me what you think!

Patriotic Bow
Yellow Flower
Pink/Chocolate and White
Turquoise with green dots and White (made for a specific outfit)
Lilac and White
Fall Colors (Pumpkin Orange, Grape, Green and White)
Small Pink and White
Couldn't decide which one to wear.. ;)

First Cookout!

Well, We had our first gathering at the house! It was a great turnout, and we all had a lot of fun! There was sooo much food! The guests included family, some of my friends, and some of Kevin's co-workers and friends. It was a good mix! All the kids had so much fun running around. It was also great to put faces with some of the people Kevin works with, since I only ever hear names.  Bella had a grand time running all over the place, and there were so many people there, that I actually was able to get a bit of a break, because I knew with so many people there, someone would always have an "eye" on her. =)

She got extremely and wonderfully dirty, and she loved every second of it! We had a wardrobe change about halfway through, though. She also got a special treat of enjoying a HUGE chocolate chip cookie (from Costco!) It's not something I normally give her, and she really enjoyed it..

Again, it was so wonderful to see everyone, and have everyone there, friends and family. We hope to be able to do this again sometime!

I won.. again!

Let me first tell you that the website I enter these contests on is amazing! Fabulous Friday Freebies posts new giv eaways EVERY WEEK! I love all the things she posts, and I really enjoy finding wonderful new places to shop online!

This time I won a personalized custom canvas painting from Art By Kristi (She is currently on vacation for the month of July, but be sure to check back for her awesome stuff in August!). I emailed her and told her I chose the daisy theme, I also sent a link to the bedset I had bought Bella, and asked if she would be able to match the colors. What she made was amazing, and absolutely perfect! Not only did she match the colors, but she put the same detailing onto the flowers that is on the actual bedding! This was something I totally did not expect!

When I got my package, this is what was inside:

The wrapping obviously was not necessary but was such a wonderful, thoughtful, and personal touch! I will also say, that even though she was on vacation, she waited to ship this until after the 4th, so it would not sit on my front porch while we were gone! She could very easily have just shipped it anyhow!

This is the final product:

Absolutely perfect! Thank you to Fabulous Friday Freebies, and Kristi, from Art by Kristi for such a wonderful prize!

Bella's 18month Checkup!

Oh my.. Bella is a year and a half. 18 months old. It is amazing o me how much she has grown. To think that I have a little person, running around, talking, climbing.. it just amazes me to no end. I always knew I'd love being a mommy, but I never truly understood the feelings I would have just watching her. I find myself often stopping what I'm doing to just watch her as she happily plays with her blocks, or "reads" her books. She just amazes me so much with how much she already knows and understands.

Her checkup was yesterday. She was a doll, as usual! Laid still for measuring and weighing, and sat still for the doctor to examine her. Here are her stats:

Weight: 25lbs 4oz (75%)
Height: 33.5" (90%)

She can identify and say the following body parts:
Head, hair, ears, eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, tongue, cheek, chin, belly/bellybutton, hand, fingers, elbow, bum, knees, foot, toes. We are working on shoulders, back, chest, and neck.

She can also identify the following animals and knows the sound to the ones with a * next to it.
Cat*, doggy*, horse*, cow*, sheep*, goat, pig, frog, bird

We are working on colors, and while she repeats them back, I do not think she really understands the connection. She knows her name (Bewwa) and identifies herself in pictures or the mirror. She loves to play peek a boo, and will cover her eyes and ask "where's Bella?" which sounds like "ah bewwa?". It's not perfect sounding, but the correct intonation is there for a question. Super cute. She loves swimming, and we put her in the pool with just floaties on her arms (And close supervision, of course!) She learned very quickly how to kick her legs and move her arms to get around the pool. I'm glad she doesn't have her mama's fear of deep water.

The doctor said her gross motor skills are right on course, and her vocabulary/speech is closer to that of a 2 year old. I'm excited about that! (at least, until she's older and using that skill to talk back!) He did say we need to cut back her milk intake a bit, as she's drinking a LOT. Reminded me she needs to be brushing twice a day.. something I will admit I often forget to do. So now, I've put her toothbrush and toothpaste with mine, and we will do it together. I didn't think she could have too much milk, but he said to try and keep her at no more than 24oz a day. Seriously, she'll drink 4 full sippys a day - and they are 9-10oz sippys!

Bella loves to be outside. And when we go out, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get her back in without a fight. And BOY does she have a temper on her! Short patience and a hot temper. What a combo. The patience is from daddy, the temper from her mama. We will have to help her work on it as she gets older. For now I try to stay calm and let her have her fit, so long as she's not hurting herself or anyone around her.

She has all her teeth now, except the last four "2 year molars". But they are coming, she is drooling a lot and always chewing on her fingers, or anything else semi-soft and rubbery. I also think they have been waking her at night. Poor thing. Hopefully they don't get dragged out too long, and she can get through it quickly. =)

Last year's Photo....

Bella @ 6months, July 6 2009

Well, that's all that has been going on with my little munchkin! She loves her Little Gym class, and it has really helped her develop and get stronger. She's learning to jump and climb and run, and that is great for her muscles. =)

Holy crap, I'm actually updating!

Yes folks, it's true, you aren't imagining things. I'm actually posting a blog. Bella keeps me super busy when she's awake, and when she's asleep, well, I'm busy doing all the things I can't do while she's awake.. like laundry, and cleaning house. Trust me, I'd much rather blog all day, but I'm pretty sure after a while it may become an issue in my marriage. Kevin really prefers to have clean underwear. I know, weird, huh? Ah well.. what can I do?

I don't even remember what or when I posted last.. and yes, I could go back and look, but, it still won't really change what I post about here. We just got back from a nice week-long trip up to PA. We had a wonderful time and Bella loved seeing her Pap-Pap and Grandma, along with all her aunts and uncles and cousins! I'm really grateful for having such a large, wonderful family for Bella, even though trying to see everyone can be very difficult.

One thing I'll never understand is why we are always told to go here and there to see everyone. Most of the family lives in the same area, and all growing up, whenever we visited, people always came to where the visitors were. I guess it's just different the way my family has always been, and the way his is. It's not a big deal, but it is rather difficult when trying to work around a schedule for Bella. I *try* to keep her close to her schedule. Sure, she does okay, but there is always that breaking point, and when we push back her nap or skip it, we are pushing our luck on how far she'll go before she just completely melts down. It's just easier and less stressful for EVERYONE if she gets a good nap every day and isn't kept up super late at night. Ah well.. I'm glad she re-adjusted quickly once we got home, though. She is definitely one who does better on a routine/schedule. Personally, I think most kids do, you just have to teach them what the schedule is!

Anyhow, We spent the week helping Kevin's brother move into their GORGEOUS new house!  I have to say, I am a bit envious of her wonderful decorating skills. I'm just not that creative, and she does everything super cheap, too. Friday we went up to the camp for our annual picnic. I love going up there. It is so peaceful and quiet and even though it's a long drive, it is a pretty one. We cook outside on the fire every day, and Friday night we all slept outside in the tent. Okay, so for a lot of you it's not *really* camping because there is a bathroom, shower, running water, etc. But, it's about as close as you will get me to camping. Especially with a baby! Bella really enjoyed being able to run around and chase after her cousins and playing soccer with them. They are all sooo good with her, and she really loves older kids in general!

Once we got back I have been sooo busy! Cleaning the house, painting, catching up with laundry.. it just seems like I've been run, run, running around nonstop this past week. This week is no different; we have a big cookout this weekend here at the house and I've got to get it all cleaned up and stuff for the cookout. I know it's not really a big deal, and no one else is going to care, but *I* care!  So, like a crazy chicken with it's head cut off, I'm running in circles. Seems to be par for the course, for me, though.

Bella had her 18 month checkup yesterday! She is growing sooo much, it just amazes me! I'll post all that in another blog, eventually. I've got to get off of here and flip the laundry and stuff before Miss Bella wakes up. =)

Wasting time..

I have all day to get things done, but it doesn't nearly seem like enough time. I am currently wasting time online, while Bella eats breakfast. I know it's probably going to be the only time I can actually get online without (much) interruption today. I have lots of running around to do, but before I even leave, i need to get my morning yoga out of the way, get myself and Bella dressed, re-pack my diaperbag since it was totally disassembled yesterday, and feed the animals. No, don't worry, they won't let me forget. The rest of the day will consist of chasing Bella around, keeping her from climbing on tables, keeping her happy while we pop in and out of Walmart, Target, and Costco for returns, and then trying to get her lunch and a nap on time. While she's napping I need to workout, shower, sweep, vacuum, clean the kitchen, clean the living room, fold laundry and get packed. All in a small 3 hour window. Why the rush today? We leave for PA tomorrow, and our goal is to be on the road by 8am. Today we want to pack and load up and so all we have to do in the morning is roll out of bed, brush teeth and hop in the car. Now, you should know, this is ALWAYS the plan, whenever we go anywhere. Usually we don't actually get on the road to where we are headed until 10.. which puts us in PA late afternoon. Kevin would like to get there earlier. Not exactly sure why, but hey, I'm all for getting on the road early! =)

So.. traveling is fun! I'm excited to go somewhere, and excited to go to PA to see all of Kevin's family! It used to be very stressful for me, but I think that I'm just getting more comfortable around them. There is still a level of anxiety and stress I feel when I'm there, and I can promise you that by the time we head home in a week, Kevin and I will be snippy with each other, but we survive, and once we are home and he's back to work and we have that time apart, we'll be back to normal. =)

My little Miss Hollywood at the pool. =)

Next bg "event" is the cookout next month. =) If you are interested in coming, leave a comment and I'll give you details. Unless you are on FB, then you probably already know about it! =D

Getting healthy!

Well, my moms group started a weight loss challenge group. Basically a group for some of us who want to lose weight and get healthy. We post and talk to each other, track our wight weekly, chart our exercise, and once a month post our measurements (hips, waist, thighs, arms, chest). Let me tell you, the initial measuring was enough to get me motivated! There are no set guidelines, we are all doing our own thing, but doing it together, if that makes sense. Some people are going to the gym, a couple are doing weight watchers, and a few of us are just doing it at home. What's my plan? To get in shape. I'm not looking to get 6 pack abs (although that would be AWESOME!). And honestly, the numbers on the scale don't really mean much. I want to be healthier, be able to run up the stairs without being out of breath. I just want to FEEL GOOD. So, I'm being conscious of what I eat, but not restricting. If I want a piece of cheesecake, I'll have it, but I'll try to make it small, and also, only have one. I'm trying to choose healthier snacks; fruit, roasted edamame, yogurt, etc.

I've recorded a couple of yoga shows on the DVR, so I do one of those every morning, which is about 20 minutes. Then, at nap time, I've been doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day shred. I've just moved up to level 2 (go me!) thats 25 minutes of INTENSE workout! Today, I added into my routine EA Active Trainer for Wii. That was 20 minutes of medium intensity, lower impact of a great workout. I was sweating when I was done, but went on to do the shred right after. =)

I've also been going on walks (not as much as I want though) on the days that aren't super hot in the mornings =)

So, thats what I've been up to, and since I workout during nap time, it takes up my online time, and I don't have much time anymore when Bella is awake, because she is a Busy busy little girl! =)

The many faces of Bella

The flavor of lavender

We've gotten settled into our new house, and I am finding the most wonderful plants growing! There is purple sage, rosemary, mint, spearmint, lillies, lilacs, cilantro, white and purple lavender, peonies, hostas, a butterfly bush, roses, and more! I'm excited about the herbs, and am making a goal to learn how to use them! (fresh and dried!) It is absolutely wonderful to know we have these at our fingertips, and it inspires me to want to cook more! I know what you are thinking, "This girl does not cook!", and you are right. I hate cooking. I hate the prep, I hate the mess, and I hate the cleanup! I am, however, trying to improve on that, and become more comfortable in the kitchen. I love to bake, so when I was at the Virginia Herb Festival at Sunflower Cottage, and tasted the most delicious lavender cookies,  you know I HAD to find a recipe! So this morning I went out and picked some fresh lavender, found a recipe, and made some for myself!

Here is the recipe, which was originally found here:

Lavender Cookie Recipe
Makes about 3 dozen cookies

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 extra large egg, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoons dried culinary lavender, chopped

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Lightly grease a cookie sheet
3. In a large bowl, mix the butter and sugar; mix well.
4. Beat in the egg.
5. Sift together the flour and baking powder into the mixture.
6. Add the lavender; stir until thoroughly combined.
7. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Let cool for 5 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve on a platter. Garnish the platter with lavender flowers.

Now, I had to make a few adjustments to this recipe. I used fresh Lavender, and through some internet research, I found you have to use 3 times the amount of fresh as you do for dried. So I used 3 tablespoons of fresh lavender. I pulled off all the flowers and buds and separated them from the stems. This was tedious, but I enjoyed the smell and had I now had a 17month old "helper" it would have gone faster. The second adjustment was the baking time. The recipe says 15 minutes, the first batch had browned edged and seemed dry, so the second batch went in for 13 minutes, this resulted in less browned  edges, but still dry. The last batch went in for 11 minutes, and this was the perfect cooking time (in my oven, yours may vary!)

Happy Memorial Day!

Enjoying the porch swing out front

Well, I'm a few days late, but I'm getting back into a routine and Bella is finally not waking up a bazillion times a night, so I'm actually semi-coherent. only semi because it's 6:45am and I've only had a couple sips of coffee, but anyhow...
She totally stole this rib off my plate, and yes, she was actually pulling meat off of it!

Memorial Day this year brought a few tears to my eyes as I read other posts on Facebook, and watch some of the stories on T.V. My daddy is retired Air Force, and thankfully made it home after every deployment. I guess it never really hit me until now, the stress it put on my mom, and the actual sacrifice my dad made for his family, and for everyone else. Now my cousin, Matt,  is in the Air Force, as well as his girlfriend, Carolina, and my brother in law, Johnny, is in the Army. Johnny just deployed to Afghanistan, Matt is going soon as well, and Carolina goes in July. I pray that they are safe and come home safe and that God watches over them. I hope that  whoever reads this will also say a quick prayer for their safety. My sister is so strong and amazing - Johnny was deployed a lot of her first pregnancy, and now she's pregnant and has a 3year old, and hes gone again. I don't know if I would be able to survive, but she does, and that's amazing..
Naptime in the hammock after swimming

Anyhow, off course. This weekend we went over to Aunt Dory and Uncle Dan's house and went swimming in the pool and cooked burgers, ribs, and hot dogs on the grill. We all had a great time, and Bella REALLY enjoyed the ribs! No pics of us in the pool because we were all in the pool.. ;) I'm glad it is summer - the weather is hot and has been kinda rainy off and on, but I love it. Rather be hot than freezing cold!
Bella & her cousin Evan playing ball

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and took a moment to be thankful for those who gave their lives and are out there now risking their lives to help protect ours. Whether or not you agree with the war, they are still over there, and they are still someone's mother, father, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, cousin, husband, wife, or child, and we need them all to be kept safe, because THEY believe they are doing good, and so we have to as well.

Bella and her cousin Alexander switching hats =) What a good sport he is!

A real update... =)

Well, we've moved and settled in (mostly) to the new house. We are really about 3 miles from our old house.  We have more room now and are really enjoying it.  The yard is huge and the dogs love it, as does Bella.. We've been busy, that's for sure. Packing, moving, unpacking.... organizing... and dealing with Bella being super sick. We got through it though, and she is on the mend. So, here are some pictures of the past couple weeks...

Moving SUCKS!

Well, we have moved. Everything is in the new house except for the blinds and the curtains from Bella's room and our room.  I think we are going back today or tomorrow to get those, then the house will be empty. I'm planning on a yard sale at that house in a couple of weeks. We've left some stuff, and now that we have all our stuff accessible ( in the basement) we are going to take it BACK to the old house and sell it there. Whatever doesn't sell will be donated. Lots of clothes, a computer chair, tons of odds and ends stuff. Oh, and a water bed. So, come on out if you'll be around.. I'll post on facebook and craigslist whenever I figure out when it will be.

The new house is great. Huge backyard, lots of space and room. There will be even more room once we get the boxes out of here! It's a slow process to get things organize and put away, but we are getting there, little by little. The dogs LOVE the big yard to run around in. The house is painted in most of the rooms. I re-painted Bella's room.. pics of that are on facebook. I'll post them here but another time because today Bella is Miss Grumpy Pants and I'm stealing these precious few minutes to post this.

I will get out our new address to everyone eventually... when I have time.

Love you all!

Wordless Wednesday

What is "Wordless Wednesday"? Well, it's basically a thing that bloggers do on Wednesdays, so they don't have to actually post anything or put thought into it. So, because I'm a slacker blogger, you may or may not see more of these on my blog. Or maybe they will occur on other days, but I will try to, every Wednesday, post a picture or two of Miss Bella. So at least if I'm not updating, you get a picture to look at =)
